The Music Commission held the first graduation ceremony for the students of Bait Al-Oud in Riyadh, at the Literary Club in Riyadh, which culminated an educational journey.
The ceremony witnessed the presentation of a number of performances that reflected the development of the artistic skills of the graduates, as an extension of the efforts to provide opportunities for music learning for all, and to empower practitioners, in a way that contributes to building a sustainable musical system and creating career paths that support the growth of the music sector.
Bait Al Oud is a specialized center for teaching musical instruments, established in September 2023 by the Music Commission and led by musician Dr. Naseer Shamma, within a number of branches in the Arab countries, and aims to discover talents and refine their abilities, through educational and training programs that combine theoretical knowledge and practical practice, under the supervision of a group of musicians and specialists.
For his part, the CEO of the Music Commission, Paul Pacifico, stressed that the first graduation ceremony of the House of Oud in Riyadh is an important milestone in achieving the Commission's strategic vision aimed at expanding access to music education, discovering national talents and developing their capabilities, indicating that qualifying graduates to transfer their knowledge and expertise contributes to expanding the impact of these efforts, developing the music education system, and supporting the growth of the sector in the Kingdom.
